Ok like everyone (or almost anyone) I have a Facebook account. I only have a few friends on Facebook, granted I’m not complaining I don’t really try to add friends on Facebook. My wife finally opened an account on Facebook after her friends pressured her to create an account. She was getting frustrated with it the other day with one the kazillion applications. The application I am talking about is the Flair app (which comes from the Office Space movie – pieces of flair were buttons that waitresses/waiters wore etc). It’s a funny and cool app, but it doesn’t work yet, there are a few kinks to work out first. She of course assumes it should work. I just tried it and realized it didn’t work and forgot about it. My facebook page looks like a mess, it’s full of crap and I have joined many groups. So now why do I say Facebook is evil, well it is, but that makes it evil is that today it was trying to charge me $25 for me to advertise, with a minimum of $5 per day. What the heck? Okay, I really don’t have anything to sell. I would like more people to read my blog and someday make money off this but I think that’s a pipe dream since there are millions of people with the same idea, and I really don’t have anything more important to say than them. What really surprises me is the number of people who actually do make a living with this online stuff. I know it’s the way of the future but it’s sometimes unbelievable. Well, I’ve rambled on enough about nothing. But at least now you know why I think Facebook is evil.
