Yes that is a pun and we will see if this embeded code works to help Pepsi with their marketing campaign.

Yup it does..
All I will say is that I have tried all three new Mountain Dew flavors and I like Voltage the best, but I think I need to test them all again.
I did notice that Voltage was the most purchased flavor at the store so I think that will probably be the winner.

Today gas prices in Grand Forks, North Dakota are just shy of $4. So what is a person to do? I am not sure. I live about 15 miles from the city where I work. So obviously it’s not a distance that I can bike to work on a regular basis, especially since I live off of a major highway. Also, I have child so it wouldn’t be safe or really even feasible to do so. That leaves me with paying the $4 per gallon or higher. What a person can do is slow down and increase your gas mileage. I have heard about hypermiling and I am sure it true but how much of difference is what I wonder
I wonder if two or even five years from now how much the price of gas will be. I assume it will be higher, either that or we will be switching to a different fuel source. I guess in Europe prices are already well over $4 per gallon, so we really don’t have it that bad.
The big question is why is the gas price so darn high? The answer, the stock market. The economy is in a slump, recession whatever you want to call it so that leads to what we have now. Will things get better, sure they can’t get any worse can they? (Sarcasm).
That leads us to the upcoming election. I haven’t been paying that close lately but I am rooting for Barack Obama. As Leo Laporte said, when you watch a movie and they show a black president you are usually watching a fictional movie about the future, since having a president other than a white guy is fiction (at least according to Hollywood). So now I think we might be moving towards the future and it won’t be fiction anymore, let’s hope.

I read an interesting article today in USA Today about Nintendo’s newest game, Wii Fit which will maybe allow many gamers to help them get in shape mentally and physically or at least feel better about themselves. This game is also not even geared toward the typically geeky gamer who spends hours a day playing games. It is geared towards moms and wives and others who typically don’t play games. Nintendo’s creator, Shigeru Miyamoto or father of Nintendo is the person behind Wii Fit and he plans to create Wii Music as well.
I own a Wii and I love it. It was one of the best Christmas presents I have received within the last few years, I felt like a kid again, when I got my Castle GraySkull action set when I was 10 or so.
What’s next you ask? I think maybe Wii Life or maybe for adults Wii Sex. Nah, that would stupid.
How about Wii Eat? Where you learn about how to create culinary masterpieces. I tried Cooking Mama but I can’t stand it. I can never understand what the heck it’s saying.
So if you have any other Wii ideas let me know.

Ok, Vista set me back about a week. I had to rebuild my computer and even after I got it rebuilt (virtually – with software), I couldn’t restore my files from the backup. Thankfully, I had done a manual backup or I would have been screwed. I know have computer backing up to itself and an external drive using the new Synctoy v.2.0. and not the built-in backup crap. Since it didn’t work. But I still don’t know if I need the built-in crappy software for the “previous version” feature to work. I don’t think so, but it’s not really clear. So if someone reads this and knows for sure, send me a link where it says this. Or maybe you don’t have a clue about what I am talking about.
I considered going back to XP but I do like Vista even though I probably should be running XP on my older machine. I did have Vista on my Macbook Pro but it didn’t run all that well so I went back to XP. I have it on a Macbook and Vista runs well in Bootcamp but not in Parallels.

I just spent a few hours trying to fix a problem with my computer that is running Vista. I officially diagnosed the problem as being Vista, since I am running Virtual PC on the computer and have Windows XP installed and the problem did not exist. The problem that I am referring to is a poor network connection, I first noticed it last week. I had no connection to the Internet. So I thought it was my ethernet switch. I am still not convinced that has something to do with it. But anyway, when I did “ipconfig” I saw media disconnected message. I was able to connect to the Internet but when I used speedtest.net I was only able to view the download test and the upload did not work. I was also trying to use Skype and that did not work. I believe I have solved the problem, but I am waiting for my computer to restart. I was almost considering reinstalling everything but didn’t feel like doing that. I still have the problem… oh…. Darn it!

Ok like everyone (or almost anyone) I have a Facebook account. I only have a few friends on Facebook, granted I’m not complaining I don’t really try to add friends on Facebook. My wife finally opened an account on Facebook after her friends pressured her to create an account. She was getting frustrated with it the other day with one the kazillion applications. The application I am talking about is the Flair app (which comes from the Office Space movie – pieces of flair were buttons that waitresses/waiters wore etc). It’s a funny and cool app, but it doesn’t work yet, there are a few kinks to work out first. She of course assumes it should work. I just tried it and realized it didn’t work and forgot about it. My facebook page looks like a mess, it’s full of crap and I have joined many groups. So now why do I say Facebook is evil, well it is, but that makes it evil is that today it was trying to charge me $25 for me to advertise, with a minimum of $5 per day. What the heck? Okay, I really don’t have anything to sell. I would like more people to read my blog and someday make money off this but I think that’s a pipe dream since there are millions of people with the same idea, and I really don’t have anything more important to say than them. What really surprises me is the number of people who actually do make a living with this online stuff. I know it’s the way of the future but it’s sometimes unbelievable. Well, I’ve rambled on enough about nothing. But at least now you know why I think Facebook is evil.
