It’s five years since one of the most historic tragedies in U.S. History
The following is what I wrote two days after the events.
I was working at a newspaper at the time, now I am working as computer technician.

Two days after America is attacked
The world is now different for everyone living in the United
States. Two days ago, the United States was attacked by
terrorist in the most horrendous way. I wrote my column
about it. I suppose I should say what happened, although it
will be never forgotten. I woke up and listened to my
favorite radio station, although, something was wrong this
morning. They said a news bulletin reported that the
Pentagon was hit and the world trade centers were hit too.
They were hit by hijacked planes, a suicide bombing of
sorts, using passengers on a plane loaded with fuel. By 10
a.m. the trade centers had crumbled to the ground.
Myself and millions of Americans were in shock. Our nation will
never be the same. And so far we don’t know who did it for
sure.. They are looking at a man named Osama Bin Laden..
Someone I’ve never heard of before.. at least not that I
recall.. although, he was involved in other terrorist
attacks including the WTC in 1993.
When I first heard this news I thought there was really big trouble.. it was.. all
flights were grounded.. and the borders were almost closed..
I thought a nuclear bomb was next. It was like the end of
the world. Indeed it was for thousands of people. Four
terrosist groups hijacked four planes and crashed them..
unbelievable.. I’m still numb and trying to figure it out.
It actually hasn’t hit me yet.. but the country is uniting.
I am proud to see all the flags around the city. Tommorrow I
am going to try to find a flag to put on our house..
I have some homework to do so I should finish that now.. But
I will not forget 9-11-01 (911) how ironic..
