Clerks II

I finally got to see Clerks II.

It was good, but not as good as I expected. Of course, I had high expectations since I was thinking that it would be as good or better than the original. It was in the same mode of humor as the first, but with the amateur editing as the orignal had, this just wasn’t the same. It was almost too polished.

It did have some hilarious parts. Without giving away too much, I loved the Pillow Pants story and the Listerfiend from Elias. You’ve got to see the movie first… I don’t want to ruin it for you.

The best line from the movie (that I will quote here) – “One ring to rule them all.” The rest of the quotes are raunchy and I’d rather not repeat them – but you can read them here – click here.

I’m also ignorant – but just like Randal, I’ve not heard of Porch Monkey used as racial slur, I guess it is but I’m not a racist, so I wouldn’t know..

I’d give the movie a 4 out of 5 stars.

PJ Trivia

The other day I found out a little more about one of my favorite bands (of which my wife thinks I am insanely obsessed in an unhealthy nature) of course I am talking about Pearl Jam (PJ).

I found out they have had five drummers. Dave Krusen
Matt Chamberlain
Dave Abbruzzese
Jack Irons
Matt Cameron

I have only seen the band with Matt Cameron.

Some other interesting things are that Eddie used an alias, Wes C. Addle (West Seattle) with Audioslave.

One interesting thing is that when Eddie first began with Bad Radio, one of my favorite songs “Betterman” is from that group.
